Join us in welcoming yoga to the gym! On New Year's Eve Axel and our new yoga instructor, Katie, will be teaching a combined movement and yoga event. 

The class will begin with a 45-minute circuit style workout with Axel, expect to turn up the intensity and get your body moving in all the best ways. There will be a brief warmup with mobility work to prep your body for what's ahead. Then, the circuits will range using various weights, bars, ground movements, and more to give you a fast-paced, high energy workout.

To finish there will be a 45-minute invigorating vinyasa flow style led by Katie, expect it to be challenging, strength building, and exploitative! The focus will be on linking each breath to each movement. We will create an inner peaceful state as we explore how different poses make us feel. Explore all the fun things our bodies can do in an accessible and judgment-free space filled with high energy!

In this workshop, Coach Axel will teach the basics of kettlebells and calisthenics. In the kettlebell training portion, he'll help participants learn the proper way to hold a kettlebell and how to use it in different exercises, as well as the variety of movements that you can do with it. For the calisthenics portion, these skills will focus on body weight training, starting on the ground and then working our way towards other equipment once ready from the bars, parallettes, and more. Progressions will be taught for those ready. 

Expect to learn a lot during this workshop and also get a lot of movement in, no need to have any experience! All levels welcome!
